Spectrum English is an internet-delivered, criterion-referenced test of college-level academic English, intended to be used for both student placement and tracking student progress in ESL study programs that teach academic English and/or prepare students for college study.
This test is designed to measure the English skills necessary to function in a US college environment. The ability range extends from the lowest beginner level, up to readiness for independent college study at the graduate level.
